The Lead Division of the JLC is developing GAMECHANGERS: the Senior Leaders’ Programme for the Jewish community, with the intention that it will be the most game changing leadership experience our community has developed to date. GAMECHANGERS will offer the future leaders of our communal organisations the opportunity to engage with some of today’s most inspirational leaders and to explore the key challenges facing the community, whilst developing a network of peers and improving their leadership skills and experience. The programme is endorsed by the JLC as the communal leadership programme with participants being able to ‘access all areas’ across the community.
GAMECHANGERS is a year-long programme featuring two distinct components – Immersion and Challenge. Immersion takes place one evening a month for the first six months and exposes the participants to the latest developments, thinking and strategy on leadership and communal affairs. Following a short residential seminar, where the group focuses on a particular strategic communal challenge, Challenge allows the participants to develop a response to that challenge, meeting at least one evening a month, before spending a long weekend in Israel where they meet game changing leaders and complete their strategic recommendation. On their return to the UK, the group present their findings to the JLC Council. The twenty five participants will be carefully selected, with twenty being drawn from communal organisations and five unaffiliated ‘prospects’, being recruited from a range of diverse backgrounds, to help infuse the group with a degree of diversity and fresh thinking.
GAMECHANGERS will be open for recruitment on October 3rd with interviews held in November. The Opening Night will be in January 2014. For further details contact Nicky Goldman at email@example.com or call 020 7242 9734.
