Tuesday 8th April saw the communal launch of the GAMECHANGERS programme at JW3. The 16 Participants of the programme have now taken part in 4 sessions of the year long programme. The evening included an intimate encounter with Einat Wilf, former member of the Knesset, a networking encounter with various gamechanging leaders in the room, and a panel including gamechanging leaders from 4 countries.
Each panelist gave their views on leadership and in particular gamechanging leadership. Simon Johnson (UK – JLC), discussed effective and ineffective leaders, using examples such as Mick Davis and Gerald Ronson as people we should look at for examples of effective leadership.
Other panelists included Wendy Khan (South Africa), Einat Wilf (Israel) and William Daroff (USA), who all shared their thoughts on gamechanging leadership. Despite being on a panel answering questions themselves, Einat asked a question of the audience of 100, “Do great leaders emerge without great challenges.” – This left the audience with a lot to think about and the GAMERCHANGERS to start framing their thoughts on the challenges that they will tackle.
The evening also included a live twitter feed, using the hashtag #GCLead. Below are some of the tweets from the evening:
