The cross-party, national Commission on the Holocaust was launched by the Prime Minister in January. JLC Chair, Mick Davis, is leading the work to investigate what more needs to be done to ensure Britain has a permanent and fitting memorial to the Holocaust, as well as the educational resources we need for generations to come.
Survivors do incredible work telling their stories in schools and colleges across the country but we will not always have these remarkable individuals with us. The Holocaust Commission is dedicated to keeping their memory alive and the views of the Jewish community are integral to the recommendations which will be presented to the Prime Minister later this year.
