The Jewish Leadership Council comprises the lay-heads of the major institutions of the British Jewish community. These institutions are the JLC’s Constituent Members and are the leading organisations in British Jewish life.
The heads of these organisations sit on the JLC’s Council of Membership, which is the Council’s sovereign body.
The JLC’s Trustees are legally responsible for the actions of the charity. They are elected primarily from and by the Council of Membership.
Additionally, the JLC benefits from the wisdom and expertise of its Vice Presidents.
The day-to-day work of the JLC is carried out by its small staff team.
