The Zionist Youth Council (ZYC) is the representative body of the Zionist youth movements in theUnited Kingdom, and consists of Bnei Akiva, Bnei Brith Youth Organisation (BBYO), the Federation of Zionist Youth (FZY), Habonim Dror, Hanoar Hatzioni, LJY-Netzer, Noam and RSY-Netzer. Backed by the UJIA, the ZYC collectively engages thousands of young people in the community every year, and takes over 55% of any given year group on an Israel Tour programme.
The Zionist Youth Council has members with a broad range of religious and political views, united by a commitment to
Judaism and Zionism, and a passion for engaging and exciting young people. The ZYC is a forum of collaboration and representation, allowing individual youth movements to discuss ideological and practical matters, whilst maintaining their own distinct identities. The ZYC is currently co-chaired by Ilana Fenster and Joshua Marks.
