The Jewish Leadership Council was established by its members, is guided by its members, and is responsible to its members. The JLC’s Member organisations comprise the backbone of Jewish life in the UK.
We work to support our members, believing that we are stronger when we plan together, work together and act together.
One of the guiding principles of the JLC is that we do not compete with our member organisations; rather, we work with them to add value and help create and incubate new projects when our members believe it is in the best interests of the Jewish community.
A few examples include:
- We run a shared purchasing initiative to help our members save money
- We worked with the social care organisations to make a submission for the Dilnot Commission
