Adrian Cohen

Adrian Cohen is a partner in the banking and finance partner in an international law firm. ‎Adrian specialises in all aspects of corporate restructuring and insolvency law and practice. His expertise includes law reform in emerging markets and has advised a number of Governments on the drafting and implementation of new legislation.


Adrian is the founder and Co-Chair of the London Jewish Forum and lay Chair of Labour Friends of Israel. He is a member of the Labour Party Antisemitism Advisory Board. He served for many years as a trustee of the Jewish Leadership Council. He represents Highgate Synagogue on the Board of Deputies of British Jews where he serves on the Finance and Organisation division. He also sits on the board of trustees of Reprieve and on the advisory board of the LSE Faith Centre (multi-faith chaplaincy) and ‎the conflict resolution charity Concordis International. He sits on the Finance and Development Committee of Agudas Israel Housing Association. With the sponsorship of the JLC and other stakeholders Adrian chaired the Jewish Committee for the London Games during the London Olympics and chaired the organisational committee for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street.


He has been a pioneer of work-placed faith activity both inter-faith and Jewish, including a continuous lunch n learn programme which has been running since 1998, a daily prayer group and a variety of activities around Jewish festivals.
