Hilda Worth

Hilda is a leader with proven experience as co-Chair of a charity and a wealth of experience at senior board level in the not for profit sector.  She has been involved in the Jewish community since her teens and was National Vice President of BBYO.

She trained as a Speech and Drama teacher and volunteered for Norwood Binoh, family support centre working with children with special needs.

Hilda became involved with Jewish Women’s Aid through their education programme and worked for the organisation and on the trustee board. She became Co-Chair of the board until September 2019.

As Co-Chair Hilda’s skill set has been built on teamwork and collaboration and leading an organisation. She has expertise in good governance, strategic thinking and organisational development.

Hilda is also a trustee of the World Jewish Relief, and Greenhouse Sports, an organisation to mentor and empower young people through sport.

She sits as a magistrate in the criminal court and is a presiding magistrate in the family courts, where her specialist knowledge of the domestic abuse sector gives valuable understanding.

Hilda has recently completed a MRes in Modern Jewish History, which is one of her interests and complements her involvement with Conservative Friends of Israel, where  she currently deputy Chair.
