In recent years the JLC's shared resources initative has identified and delivered annual savings totaling more than £750,000 across the Jewish charity sector. Most of these savings have been achieved by aggregating purchasing in the sector.
In response to requests from smaller and medium sized charities, together with Jewish schools, this scheme is being relaunched as the "JLC Purchasing Club".
Headed up by our recently appointed procurement advisor Marshall Hoffman who is working in partnership with a number of community businesspeople the club will provide a simplified way for charities and schools to access the benefits of shared purchasing. There is no cost to participate and most of the hard work is undertaken by Marshall and his team - freeing up staff to get on with the business of running charities and schools.
In order to participate in the programme please contact Marshall via the JLC office.
