Mark Morris

Mark began his career as a chartered surveyor at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was a European Director in charge of Private Client Real Estate.  In 2002, he co-founded the property investment company, Investream Limited, which invests primarily in real estate assets throughout the UK, Europe and Israel.  He has also diversified and holds various non-property investments.  He has a BSC (Hons) and is a member of the RICS.

He founded Work Avenue in 2006 and as Chairman of the Trustees he dedicates significant time and resources, chairing the Fund Raising Committee, as well as weekly meetings with senior management.    

Work Avenue is a communal organisation operating across the full spectrum of the Jewish community. It assists people in creating long term sustainable incomes either through creating work opportunities or helping businesses develop and flourish. Work Avenue creates opportunities for everyone, at any life stage, in any situation.

Work Avenue is headquartered at and runs WE Hub (Wohl Enterprise Hub), a state-of-the-art shared workspace in Finchley, allowing businesses to share ideas, grow and become self-sustaining.  The layout and mix of facilities encourage interaction between Work Avenue clients and industry experts, building a network and creating opportunities.

Work Avenue supports over 2000 people each year in their journey to becoming financially self-sufficient.

He is a co-founder trustee of the Investream Charitable Trust and works tirelessly for the Jewish community.  He is a Governor on the board of The Menorah High School Foundation for Girls and is responsible for finance and premises.  In addition, he is on the board and assists various other charities in London and Israel.

He lives in Hendon and is well-known in this community. He is married to Lissie and together they have six children, with a number of grandchildren.
