Nicky Goldman is the Executive Director of Lead: Inspiring Jewish Leaders, the leadership development division of the Jewish Leadership Council. Lead develops leaders with ambition, ability and authenticity to lead our vibrant and vital Jewish community.
Nicky is passionate about people development and the UK Jewish community and Israel, having worked in the Jewish community for over 30 years in leadership and community development, family education, HR and youth and student work for the Association of Jewish 6th Formers, London Student Chaplaincy Board, Hendon Synagogue, the United Synagogue and UJIA amongst other organisations.
Nicky has an MA in Jewish Communal Service from the Hornstein Program at Brandeis University, Boston, USA (1992), as well as being a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (FCIPD). Nicky also has a PGCE in Religious Education from the Institute of Education, London, a Postgraduate Diploma in Jewish Studies from Jews’ College, London and graduated from the Susie Bradfield Women Educational Leaders’ Programme (LSJS). In 2016-17, Nicky participated in the Windsor Leadership Developing Leaders’ Programme.
Nicky is married to David Goldberg, Director of Goldberg Consulting and they have two children, Liora (22) and Asher (19). They live in Bushey, where they host a Friday night service in their home in the summer. Nicky co-chaired a 27 hour-long programme for Bushey Shabbat UK in 2014 and 2015 and is involved in the 2017 programme.
